This stunning tropical parquet floor, a true Art Deco gem, graces a property in Hinckley, Leicestershire. The mahogany herringbone pattern extends throughout the home, but years of wear and tear had obscured its beauty.

The floor's finish was beyond repair, so we opted for a complete restoration. Our dust-free sanding machines removed the old, worn finish, revealing the vibrant tropical parquet underneath. In some rooms, we could even see where furniture had once stood.

Layer by layer, we sanded the floor to its original state, preparing it for a new life. After a final fine sanding, we applied a protective hard wax oil, renowned for its durability. This choice not only restored the floor's former glory but also ensured that it would withstand the test of time, a testament to the enduring appeal of Art Deco design.
