Pine Floorboards:
A Transformation
This Georgian pine floor in Northampton, Northamptonshire, was in need of repair. The client, undertaking renovations, was unsure if the damaged floorboards could be salvaged.
After inspecting the floor, we determined that the unsafe boards could be repaired. We began by cleaning the floor to remove construction debris, then repaired the damaged area in the doorway. Using our dust-free sanding equipment, we removed the old, worn finish, revealing the natural wood beneath. The floor's appearance brightened significantly.
After a final fine sanding, we applied a hard wax oil, which enhanced the grain and gave the room a more spacious feel.
