Oak Finger Block

This oak finger block parquet in Uppingham, Rutland, had lost its luster due to years of wear and tear. The floor was dark, discoloured, and some blocks were loose.
We used our dust-free sanding machines to remove the old, worn varnish, revealing the natural wood beneath. After a final fine sanding, we applied a hard wax oil, which not only brightened the oak but also highlighted its natural grain. This oil finish was also ideal for this entrance hall, as it's easier to maintain than other finishes, especially with a gravel driveway.
