You don't need a Victorian home to appreciate the elegance of original floorboards. This 1930s terraced property in Corby, Northamptonshire, is a perfect example. Our clients, eager to preserve the home's character, wanted to enhance the original features of this sunlit snug.

The floorboards, typical of the era, required some TLC. After repairing damaged boards, we meticulously sanded away the darkened top layer, revealing the natural pine grain beneath. The floors were then smoothed and finished with a protective hard wax oil, making them both beautiful and easy to maintain.
